My Reading Log

I have been trying to systematize my reading list which has become unwieldy. I'd like to keep a log of the books that I've read since I started the blog, the books that I intend to read going forward, and a wish list I'm adding all read books to this list and linking reviews to those that I've been able to review. How do you keep track of the books that you read and review? Do you have any practical suggestions? Please share!

  1. I'd like to know to. What i've been doing is keeping a wish type list on Goodreads and the list of books I've read I use the reviews I post on my blog. My to be read, well, I haven't done a list for that yet except that I did start putting them on my calendar but I didn't keep it up. So if you come up with something please share! :)

  2. I just started my blog not long ago... so still have to see if this works.

I have a post on books I read in 2010, and link my individual reviews back to this post.

    A post on TBR - Non-Fiction
A post on TBR - Fiction
A post on TBR - YA
A post on TBR - Other

Then if I read something from my TBR list, I think I'll cross it off on the TBR list ("strike" out the title perhaps?). Not sure if I'll or will not link to the actual review... I mean, the TBR list is for myself, so once it's crossed off, I don't have to think about it anymore...

If you go to my blog, and look at the labels on the right hand column, it may make a bit more sense.

Can't wait to read what others do!

Before I blog, I kept an excel spreadsheet of the TBR (one tab for fiction, one for non-fiction etc), but that list is going out of control, then I start hi-lighting the one I prioritize first... but I keep coming across books I want to read!
