Book Review of Susan Kearney's Jordan

Jordan is the third in Susan Kearney's Pendragon Series. Anna and Hatchette Book Group are sponsoring a giveaway of 5 copies of Jordan. The giveaway ends on March 31, head here to sign up.

The blurb:
Vivianne Blackstone devotes herself to her career, putting her love life on hold. Her latest project is a spaceship designed to protect Earth from the deadly Tribes. But its engineer, the alluring Jordan McArthur, now threatens both her job and her wary heart. . .

Jordan's past goes back to King Arthur, and he must find the ancient artifact that can save the galaxy. Vivianne's ship is his best hope, but convincing the fiercely independent beauty won't be easy. Especially when the passion flaring between them burns through their defenses - and love is the last thing they need to survive.

Review:
The third in Susan Kearney's Pendragon series, Jordan is my favorite so far. The story centers on the mystery of Jordan and his relationship to the Holy Grail and the Staff and how these unique items can help save Earth from the Tribes. It helps to have read the earlier books in the series, because they help explain the world that Jordan and Vivianne live in and what they're fighting.

There is plenty of action as Jordan and Vivianne travel through space and explore strange planets to find the clues and artifacts that they need to create a weapon strong enough to fight the invading Tribes. But there is an equal part of romance and rather explicit love scenes as well. Overall, Jordan is a fun escape.
