You'll Be Sor-ree!: A Guadalcanal Marine Remembers The Pacific War

Here's mine from You'll Be Sor-ree!: A Guadalcanal Marine Remembers The Pacific War   by Sid Phillips.   This is one of the books that formed the basis of the HBO series The Pacific.  I just received it on Thursday!

Here's my Friday 56:
Cardboard boxes of canned food fell apart and the labels washed off the cans.  Small mountains of useless, unlabeled cans were everywhere.  Therew ere no work gloves to be issued, and we had to handle thousands of rolls of barbed wire and thousands of cases of .30-caliber ball that were paced in dark green wooden boxes with stenciled letters stating each box weighed 110 pounds.
